In these Terms:“We/Us/Our” means Verona Training SRL, trading as “The Movement Academy”, a company incorporated in EU (reg. no. [ ], registered office 25 Argentina Street, Bucharest, RO. Merchant of record and payment processing occur in the country of registration. Contact: contact@themovementacademy.co.uk.“You/Your” means the purchaser/attendee (individual or organisation).“Course” means the in-person training “Advanced Vertebral Manipulation with Juan José Boscà Gandía, May 2026” delivered in London, UK.“Start Date” means Day 1 of the Course.
UK Data Protection Legislation means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force from time to time in the UK including the UK GDPR; the Data Protection Act 2018; the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (as amended); and any successor or related legislation.
These Terms govern Your purchase of admission to the Course made via Our online checkout in GBP. They form the entire agreement between You and Us for the Course, to the exclusion of any terms You seek to impose.
A binding contract arises once we issue an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order (for example, if capacity is full, eligibility or safety concerns arise, or fraud is suspected).
4.1 Prices are stated in GBP and are [VAT-inclusive / VAT-exclusive]. [If applicable: We charge UK VAT at 20% (UK VAT no. GB[●]).]4.2 Payment of 100% of the course fee is required at checkout to secure a seat.4.3 Payments are processed by Stripe on Our behalf. You authorise debiting of Your chosen payment method. Any currency conversion or bank fees are Your responsibility.4.4 Tickets are personal licences to attend; they do not confer any ownership or intellectual property rights.
5.1 No refunds. Course tickets are non-refundable in all circumstances, including non-attendance.5.2 Name change permitted: You may request a change of attendee name up to 14 days before the Start Date at no charge.5.3 No statutory cooling-off: as the Course is a leisure service for a specific date, the usual 14-day cooling-off right does not apply.5.4 Our changes: If We materially change dates/venue or cancel, You may choose either (a) a refund of the price paid; or (b) a transfer to a later cohort. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other consequential costs.
6.1 The Course is professional education only. It does not confer a right or licence to practise. You remain responsible for Your clinical judgements, scope of practice, professional rules, and insurance.6.2 You must comply with all reasonable instructions of Our instructors and venue staff and with applicable health and safety rules. We may remove any attendee whose behaviour risks safety or disrupts teaching; no refund is due.6.3 We do not provide medical advice or treatment to attendees or demo subjects.
7.1 All Course content, materials, documentation, demonstrations, and know-how are Our intellectual property (or licensed to Us). Except as permitted by law, You must not copy, record, stream, distribute, or make them available to third parties without Our prior written consent.7.2 Photography/filming by Us. We may record limited photos or video of the Course for teaching and promotional purposes. If You object to being identifiable in such materials, notify Us in writing before the Start Date or at registration; We will take reasonable steps to avoid capturing or to suitably obscure You.7.3 No attendee recording. You must not photograph, film, or otherwise record the Course without Our prior written consent.
8.1 You will keep non-public Course materials and demonstrations confidential and use them solely for Your own professional learning.8.2 This clause does not restrict information that is lawfully in the public domain or required to be disclosed by law.
9.1 For personal data We process as controller in connection with the Course (e.g., booking, communications, and event administration), We comply with UK Data Protection Legislation and Our Privacy Notice available at [https://themovementacademy.co.uk/legal/privacy].9.2 Processors. We use service providers such as Kajabi (site/checkout), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (security/CDN), and—subject to Your consent—analytics/advertising cookies (e.g., Google/Meta).9.3 Marketing and cookies operate on a consent basis where required. You may withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or unsubscribe links.9.4 If You provide Us with personal data of third parties (e.g., transferring a ticket), You warrant You have a lawful basis to do so and will inform such individuals of Our processing as described in the Privacy Notice.
On completion, We may issue a certificate of attendance. No representation is made that the Course confers academic credit, regulated qualifications, or professional accreditation.
11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, Our aggregate liability to You for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Course or these Terms shall be limited to the amount You paid for Your ticket.11.3 We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, or wasted travel/accommodation costs.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond Our reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, transport disruption, strikes, public health measures, or venue closure). If the Course cannot run as planned, We will offer a new date or a refund of the price paid.
13.1 These Terms (and any non-contractual obligations) are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country where You reside.13.2 Consumers: the courts of Romania have non-exclusive jurisdiction; You may also bring proceedings in the courts of Your residence where mandatory consumer law so permits.13.3 Business purchasers (clinics/companies): the courts of Romania (Bucharest) have exclusive jurisdiction.
14.1 Assignment: Tickets are personal and may not be resold. Transfers of attendee name are permitted under clause 5.2.14.2 Variation: We may update these Terms for legal or operational reasons; the version in force at the time of Your purchase applies.14.3 Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in force.14.4 Notices: Formal notices must be sent to contact@themovementacademy.co.uk (and to the email You used to purchase).
